Logistical Information for March 15
Los Angeles March & Rally
Hit the Streets on the 5th
Anniversary of the Iraq War!
LA Protest Part of International Day of Action
Assemble 12 noon Hollywood &
Vine, March to CNN Building for Rally
Come together with thousands of people in Los Angeles on March 15 to protest the
war on Iraq. There will be a march, rally, live music and much more. March 15
will be an important action for the anti-war/peace movement in Southern
California. We urge all people to come to Los Angeles for the biggest possible
regional action to stop the war.
Speakers and endorsers include:
Cynthia McKinney, former Congresswoman and U.S. presidential candidate; Paul
Haggis, Academy award-winning director ("Crash," "In the Valley of Elah"); Gore
Vidal, award-winning author, playwright and activist; Mark Ruffalo,
award-winning actor ("Zodiac"); Jackson Browne, legendary musician and
songwriter; Ron Kovic, Vietnam veteran, author Born on the 4th of July; Los
Angeles County Federation of Labor, Office of the Americas, National Council of
Arab Americans, United Teachers Los Angeles, ANSWER Coalition and many others.

The plan for March 15: Assemble 12 noon at Hollywood and Vine in Los
Angeles. We'll have a few brief opening speakers and then march through the
streets of Hollywood (about 1 mile) to the corner of Sunset and Cahuenga outside
the pro-war CNN media building for a rally with speakers, entertainment, music
and more. Thousands of people will converge in the streets of Los
Angeles on March 15 to oppose five years of criminal war against the people of
Iraq!
This Los Angeles march was initiated by the ANSWER Coalition. It is being built
by the ad hoc March 15 Stop the War Coalition.

Being a Vendor/Having an Information Table at the Rally
Nonprofit social justice organizations will have information tables at the rally

must bring your own table up to 6 feet in length. Table placement in the
designated table area is first come, first serve. Set up near Sunset and
Cahuenga will begin at 11:00 am. At this time or afterward, check in at the

where you will be able to set up your table. It is strongly recommended that
you make a reservation and donation in advance. You can make a reservation and
donate in advance by credit card by calling 213-251-1025. A Reservation
Organizer will also check in with you at the rally so you can pay your fee if
you have not.
All commercial sales must be approved, call 213-251-1025. The donation for
commercial sales is $100.00 (at minimum), unless you have worked out a
pre-approved percentage of your sales with the organizers. This rate does
not apply to food vendors.
